Albert Darmawan (School of Computer Science – BI)

Currently studying at Binus University International, majoring in Computer Science and specializing in Software Engineering. He has been actively involved in various student activities and programming competitions. Nowadays, he is a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant for School of Computer Science, as well as member of Jollybee (Binus Programming Team).

Current Projects

    • Implementation of Text Based Games using Interactive Narration and Interactive Narrative Approach to Improve Reading Behavior in Indonesia. (Supervised by Ida Bagus Kerthyayana Manuaba and collaborate with  Ieuan Ignatius)

Project Description :

In this project, we are developing two approaches to improve reading behavior in Indonesia with text-based games as a medium. Ieuan will be leading the development of Interactive Narrative approach, whereas I will be leading the development of Interactive Narration approach.

The entire research will be separated into 4 main timelines :

    1. Prototyping an Indonesian Famous Folklore (Legenda Danau Toba)
    2. Analyzing the Prototype to Generate a Framework
    3. Implementing the Text-Based Games Builder on a Web Application based on the Framework
    4. Conducting Web Application Deployment and User Testing
